Hello,
My name is Jen Briggs. I am one of the Pre-K teachers at Hamilton Central School.
A little bit about me:
> I was born and raised in Hamilton & love the small town and sense of community here!
> In my spare time, I enjoy snuggling with my two nieces, camping, cooking, baking, & taking
photos. I have also recently become interested in digital scrapbooking and creating photobooks.
> I LOVE teaching PreK!
>My new students might like to know that my favorite color is blue and my favorite animals are giraffes & turtles! (We have two pet turtles in our classroom.)
My Education:
> Hamilton Central School - 1994
> Associate's Degree - SUNY Cobleskill - Early Childhood Education - 1996
> Bachelor's Degree - SUNY Oneonta - Elementary Education - 1998
> Master's Degree - Utica College- Inclusive Education & Instruction - 2005
My Teaching Experience:
> Long-term Substitute at Sherburne-Earlville Central School (1998-1999)
> Teacher & Teaching Assistant at Chenango Nursery School (1999-2001)
> HCS Kindergarten Teacher (Sept. 2001-June 2009)
> HCS Pre-K Teacher (Sept. 2009-Present)
> In the afternoons, I work as a library/media teacher for K-2nd grade students, so I may have some of your older children in my afternoon classes!
